What Causes Cervical Cancer?

Cervical cancer is the third most common cancer among Thai women, accounting for 11.1% of all cancer cases, following breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Each year, approximately 6,000 to 8,000 Thai women are diagnosed with cervical cancer, and on average, 8 to 10 women die each day from it (according to the HOSPITAL-BASED CANCER REGISTRY 2020, National Cancer Institute). It is most commonly found in women aged between 35 and 50 years.
